Commissioning Music for Dance Panel
Join Dance/NYC and the American Music Center (AMC) in their first collaboration, an in-depth panel entitled "Commissioning Music for Dance"! The panel will explore successful strategies for developing and sustaining collaborative partnerships between choreographers and composers. Moderator Frank J. Oteri, AMC's Composer Advocate and Founding Editor of NewMusicBox.org, will be joined by guest composers and choreographers who will share their experiences of bringing together music and dance in the creation of new work.
