Doug Varone and Dancers Stripped: Season 2

Doug Varone and Dancers' Stripped, an intimate studio series with works in process, a cash bar, and guest artists' work will continue this Friday, November 5 at 8:00 pm at the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center.

The evening's program will include two excerpts from Victorious (2007), set to Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85; a new, flipped version of the 2006 Lux, with music by Philip Glass; an excerpt from Let's Dance (1996); as well as an open rehearsal for Doug's new work-in-progress, Carrugi, inspired by the architecture and winding streets of Italy's Liguria region. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door, so get them in advance!
