Vote for the Princess Grace Foundation!
Pepsi is giving away $1,300,000 each month to fund great ideas and the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is in the running for the 250K cash prize! National in scope, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA identifies and assists emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships. Since 1984, more than 500 artists have received over $7 million to support their careers from the Princess Grace Foundation.
The future of the arts depends on dedicated, talented individuals pursuing their desired art form – be it acting, directing, designing, dancing, filmmaking, playwriting or choreography - and these are the very areas that are recognized by the Princess Grace Awards. Each year 20-25 emerging artists are given grants to pursue their studies, produce their thesis projects, or take that job at a non-profit arts institution that will literally help to change their lives. With $250,000, the Princess Grace Awards can help to ensure the future of artistic excellence.
If it wins the $250,000 from Pepsi's Refresh Project, the money will be used to support the early training of artists, provide arts organizations with assistance to pay artists' fees, and encourage artists to "keep going" during the critical early stages.
