skybetter and associates perform Friday nite

DB co-founder Sydney Skybetter will be showcasing work this Friday night at Dixon Place in its Under Exposed series! This series provides an opportunity for choreographers who are either beginning or evolving in their careers. Once every other month, four new works are shown in development from choreographers who are not often given the opportunity to show work in larger venues which demand more "finished" visions.

General admission tickets cost $15
Student/senior tickets cost $12

Dixon Place is located at:
161A Chrystie Street
New York, NY 10002
between Rivington and Delancey
F, V to 2nd Ave, JMZ to Bowery, B, D to Broadway/Lafayette, 6 to Bleecker

The performance, which will begin at 7:30 pm, also will feature the work of choreographers Bryan Campbell, Paul Singh, and Jessica Morgan.

*For an entertaining look at Sydney, check out Twitter Community Choreography #12 on Dance Theater Workshop's blog (www.dancetheaterworkshop.org.)

(Twitter Community Choreography is an ongoing experiment from Dance Theater Workshop. On Tuesdays, Dance Theater Workshop asks its Twitter followers to send them one movement (or nonmovement), then DTW puts all the responses together into one dance and films it. Sydney's filming anticipates the premiere of the DanceNOW [NYC] Festival next Tuesday, September 8th at DTW).
