Increasing engagement with customizable e-cards
Long-time client Jordan Matter, renown photographer and author of Dancers Among Us - A Celebration of Joy in the Everyday came to Design Brooklyn looking for a new marketing strategy to promote his book. Since we’ve worked closely with Jordan in the past, crafting www.dancersamongus.com and www.jordanmatter.com, we knew the best approach for the situation. It was time to include a fresh new element on www.dancersamongus.com.
Design Brooklyn to the rescue
Picking up the pieces and getting a project back on track - in a hurry.
When PENETRON decided to redesign their website they were looking for a contemporary design putting PENETRON at the forefront of their industry, engaging functionality to highlight their work, a content management system to give them complete control of the site, and of course, a very tight timeline.
Unfortunately, PENETRON wasn't yet familiar with Design Brooklyn and went with another provider. After some initial progress, the project slowed to a standstill. It soon became clear that PENETRON needed help... enter Design Brooklyn.

Crowdsourcing Contests
Walking the Fine Line Between Success and a Train Wreck

And how can you avoid the same outcome in your online marketing?

G.E. Data Visualization Blog Redesign
Design Brooklyn is proud to have partnered with General Electric in the redesign of their Data Visualization website. The revised site would be a representation of the company’s commitment to data visualization technology and would serve as a central hub for a wealth of interactive visualizations. GE desired something more modern and progressive to match their innovative products, while improving navigation functionality, increasing content discovery throughout the site and adhering to recently revised marketing initiatives and branding guidelines.

Culturadar
DB client, Wit Media, was looking for a way to effectively promote arts organizations - their core clientele - by providing easily accessible event listings and discounted promotional offerings. They aim to support the arts community at large by providing an online library of upcoming performances, museum happenings, concerts, shows, etc. in cities throughout the country, to potential event-goers. On top of a massive volume of event-based content, Culturadar also curates and promotes exclusive deals and offers on some of the most interesting cultural offerings in town.

Keigwin + Company Website Redesign
Since its inception in 2003, Keigwin + Company’s willingness to take risks and innovate has skyrocketed the company to international prominence. Keigwin + Company has lead the curve in content creation with its promotional videos, recognizing that marketing is not only a tool to bring audiences to performances but a performance in and of itself. Such performative marketing required an equally forward-thinking website.
